The Coastal Alabama Business Chamber is proposing changes to the bylaws to restructure the Chamber board of directors' and officers' terms of service.
The goal of these changes is to help create more continuity among the chamber's leadership to better support the organization's growing, diverse membership and increasing mission; and to improve the support of our comprehensive work plan.
As prescribed by the Bylaws:
• Notice of the proposed changes has been posted to the Chamber website since Thursday, October 26th.
• A short meeting of the membership occurred at the November 3rd First Friday Forum event.
• On Tuesday, November 7th the membership was notified of an electronic vote via email blast.
